FEES

Individual Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes) – up to $225*

Couples Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes) – up to $250*

*Fees are set based on my years of practice, credentials, and community standards.  Sliding scale rates reflective of annual income, and reduced fee slots may be available on a limited basis for individuals who are currently students or have financial hardship. I strongly encourage you contact me regarding any questions you may have about fees.

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full at the time of service. You may pay with cash, check, or credit/debit card.

INSURANCE

I do not accept insurance. If you would like to use your out-of-network insurance benefits, you will be provided with a receipt of services at the end of each month that you may submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement (usually a PPO plan). It is advised that you call your insurance company to verify out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services. See below for more information.

USING OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS

Clinical Services may be covered in part or in full by your health insurance plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance provider these questions:

Do I have "out-of-network" mental health insurance benefits?

What is my deductible and has it been met?

How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover for one year?

What is the coverage amount per session?

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

If out-of-network benefits are covered, you will be responsible for payment at the time of service and your insurance will reimburse your expenses.

BENEFITS OF PAYING OUT-OF-POCKET

Insurance companies mandate a diagnosis, oversee your health records, and may seek access to your information while in therapy. They also may limit your coverage to a set number of therapy sessions per year, not giving attention to the unique challenges you may be experiencing.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy

You will be charged the full fee for canceled or rescheduled sessions with less than 24 hours notice.
